This past Fall, The Cracker Barrel focused on some exciting news happening within the community:
- The Schaumburg Police Department continues to meet the highest professional standard of public safety by being awarded its 10th national accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA®).
- Phase 1 of Schaumburg’s 90North initiative, which is an ongoing development project for the city of Schaumburg. At the June 23 Village Board meeting, a revised concept plan for the 90 North District West Park and Phase I Scope of Improvements was approved.
- The approval of the Village of Schaumburg’s Fiscal Year 2020/21 budget. As a result of the economic shutdown, Schaumburg aimed to preserve existing services as much as possible while accounting for significant realized and projected local tax revenue reductions.
