Schaumburg Ranked in Top 10 of MONEY Magazine’s Annual “Best Places to Live” List

The Village of Schaumburg recently ranked in the Top 10 of MONEY Magazine’s “Best Places to Live” list. The village was ranked No. 9 out of 100 cities across the U.S. in offering a healthy economy, affordable homes, and a high quality of life.

The nomination and recognition from MONEY Magazine for this prestigious list recognizes the effort Schaumburg puts into maintaining a high quality of life for both residents and businesses. Out of hundreds of communities across the country, a Top 10 ranking validates that Schaumburg is a great place to live, work, do business, and raise a family

Schaumburg offers a variety of amenities for residents and visitors including the Al Larson Prairie Center for the Arts, Trickster Cultural Center, Legoland Discovery Center, Woodfield Mall, Schaumburg Township District Library, and Bison’s Bluff Nature Playground that contribute to Schaumburg’s success. The magazine also mentioned Schaumburg’s firm place as an economic and manufacturing powerhouse in the Chicagoland area as one of its top features.

The MONEY Magazine Best Places to Live in America is an annual ranking of towns and cities where affordability meets quality of life. For this list, MONEY chose to look at places with a population between 10,000 and 100,000 and evaluated 2,400 places on eight categories: cost of living, economy, education, housing, crime, convenience, cultural and recreational amenities, and an overall sense of pleasantness.
